Found this at another site, I guess you wouldn't want posting other URLs (??) so here's their info:
What you need to add to this is:


  1. Motorcycle engine, approx. €1000,-
  2. Shocks, approx. €800 (very depending on shock brand and type)
  3. Seat + harness, approx. €200
  4. Wheels and tires, approx.. €500
  5. Painting, welding, some small bits, bolts, electronics.

So in total you would be looking around €8.000,- to €12.000,- for a running vehicle. This will be cheaper if you produce parts yourself.
I don't see where you get the 8-12k figure and there's no place to post where I found this info. At current exchange rate that's still around $8.5k-12.5k USD.

Are people buying kits and then adding to it? Where do you draw the line between acquiring/purchasing/producing yourself
